can we apply bending equations to microcantilevers

    Micro cantilevers used for measurement of small forces and masses. how can we apply bending equations of cantilever beam in microscale? please clarify my doubt.

    If the aspect ratio suggests it is long and slender, then sure, you can use Euler-Bernoulli theory for small forces.
