    Didn't stand up. Nice try.

You are arguing that Microsoft is the "Only Seller" of operating systems for personal computers? You will never win that argument. All you will find is a bunch of anti-consumer cronies crying "Anti-Trust", but the din of the rabble doesn't change the facts.

Edit: And I argue "childishly"? You should re-read our exchanges. You have been like a petulant brat towards me. Grow up, please.

OP question is puzzling as wars create jobs and full employment.
    Everyone likes that.
What we do not like is the debt and the inevitable inflation that will result form it.
Also people on pensions in another country suffer when the dollar falls in value as it decreases your monthly income.

    Buy real estate now !!

This may have been true for the two World Wars, but it wasn't even true during Vietnam, and certainly not now. The military just isn't the enormous consumer of material goods the way it was for the World Wars. Ike's "Military-Industrial Complex" was already gone by the time he first uttered that term.

During the World Wars we were turning out ships, planes, tanks, and vehicles that were being blown up at a rapid pace. So we kept cranking them out. Not just for us, but for the Russians and British as well. We were making bombs that were being dropped by the tons. Every day. For years.

Our military budget is a fraction of what it was back then when compared to GDP. This argument is just repeated until people believe it. There is no truth to it at all.
