Funny. Actually, I do gravitate towards like minded people on YouTube. I've often thought about making my own, but I don't believe I could do better. It is one of the last refuge for independent thinkers.
Thanks. I make them for friends and family. I made one for a female trooper in Afghanistan. It was going to be a gift for her friend over there. I'm a little tickled that one of my cbg's has traveled half way around the world. It's a hobby. I'm working on four right now as time permits.
Bowser, how about composing songs or tunes to go along with your instrument making...that's if you are very bored.
I've composed several songs with my guitar and MuseScore. It can be rewarding. The cigar box guitar really is meant for sliding the blues. While playing 12 bar blues is relatively easy, I haven't a creative inclination for composing my own blues. Nonetheless, I like the blues.
