    The fear and hysteria over global warming will cause greater harm than a degree or two higher in temperature. Biofuels from food is downright immoral. If it becomes more profitable for farmers to produce food for fuel what do you think they are going to do? Even if you grow non-food crops for biofuels it will still have the same effect because farmers will use their land for what is most profitable.

    People would starve if we didn't subsidize ethanol production? It seems to me they're starving because we are subsidizing it.

    No I meant people would starve if we got ride of ALL subsidies, such as food subsidies.
