First of all, for all the new members, Im a theist. I just have this to point out, and this is for everyone. Even the devil can quote scripture to fit his needs. So before you go quoting the bible, just remember that anyone can quote scripture to fit their needs. It can be taken in anyway, and in any form.
its true, thats how athiests find contradictions and how theists justify wrongful acts or stupid ideas! thanx for pointing that out, however with some threads there is a need to quote scripture since thats where the foundation for the opinion is coming from!
That is scripture, so the comment is absolutely meaningless. It is also how Christians resolve contradictions and disown wrongful acts and stupid ideas eg. slavery

it would be quite an event if either god or satan would use some bible quotations. It would be on the frontpage of every newspaper and the headline in every newsprogram. "God is back with a quote from his own bible...but Satan refuted gods claim with another quote from this controversial book. Things got heated then and god and satan went into a fistfight. Both sustained serious injuries and were submitted to local hospitals. Satan pressed official charges against god. Prosecutor asked for maximum penalty. Read all about it..." Can't remember the last time either of them showed their faces to us.
