Best Video Game Ever

i can't believe i missed this!

1. Role-Playing Game?

Oh! It's a toss up! I enjoyed AD&D, it's such an old game but classic! and in video gaming, I LOVE FF VII, VIII, X and I can't wait for XII, and also, I enjoyed SUMMONER, that's cool although so lonnnnng.


2. 3-D Shooter?

Hmmm, I used to play this at the video arcade when I was 15, the one where you are blasting away zombies! whoa, that's cool. and also, that one called "badlands" and you're the cowboy sherriff or whatever. coool.
In video gaming, pc; i enjoyed QUAKE, and Duke Nukem.


3. Strategy? MEtal gear solid


4. Puzzle?

heyy, can board puzzles be counted? or the ones in the newspaper and books? heh. i like tetris.

5. currently playing?
Finished DMC2, and going to buy TR: angel of darkness!
heard it was good.

Where's all the fighting games? and sports titles? I know RPG's and puzzle games rules but whatever happen to the fun in just kicking someones ass? Most of you failed to even include a fighter or sports game. You disgrace the reputation of gamers...

RPG: Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time -- N64
3-D Shoooter: Either Halo for XBox or Goldenye on 64.
Strategy: Never seriuosly played a strategy game. :bugeye:
Puzzle: Riven -- PC
Current: Not playing any particular game but Halo and Splinter Cell occasionally
Sports: Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball (don't remember what year) -- N64.
Fighting: Soul Calibur -- Dreamcast (Can't wait for SC II on XBox!!)

I've been playing games for years. I remember Super Mario for the original NES as the first game I played.

I played the Soul Calibur 2 Demo for XBox and Game Cube yesterday and I wasn't super impressed. It seems only slightly better with regards to graphics, but overall it is about an identical game. That doesn't mean I won't buy it though!
