    The Village.

A bit spooky - but the love story in it is so beautiful.

Can't believe shorty didn't say "Last of the Mohicans". That's my kind of romance.

Oh Yes, I forgot. :bawl: That scene in Madison County is a tear jerker....you keep saying get out get go to him!!

Last of the Mohicans, for sure but also one of my favourite movies.
Who can forget the waterfall scene. " Stay alive I will find you, No matter how far or how long I will find you" .......

BTW: if that is your kind of romance, why don't you take some pointers!! lol

Well sheeet, let's go on a trip to the Appalachians right now - I just got my passport. I was talking about the more silent Uncas-Alice affair, so I would have to get killed by Wes Studi and you'd have to commit suicide for the whole thing to be authentic.

How is that movie romantic? Besides the NIN song... "Oh... I just want something I can never have!"

    Love Story

Love Story is a 1970 romantic drama film written by Erich Segal coordinated with his 1970 best-selling novel. It was directed by Arthur Hiller. The film, well-known as a tear-jerking tragedy, is considered one of the most romantic of all time by the American Film Institute (#9 on the list), and was followed by a sequel, Oliver's Story in 1978. Love Story starred Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal and also marked the film debut of a then-unknown Tommy Lee Jones, who played a minor role in the film.
