    One more time.
There was only ONE Matrix movie: it's NOT a trilogy.

still, first matrix had the ugliest kick ever done in a movie(the very own black Wednesday of chuck).
i'll approve the comic just for the Deja vu quality at the finale.

Some of those aren't even trilogies. There were four Die Hard, Terminator and Indiana Jones movies. Only two movies in the Predator series. So on and so forth.

Right now I'm debating between the Bourne Trilogy and the LOTR Trilogy. I've found the Bourne movies easier to watch because they're shorter and have a lot more action. But the LOTR movies are simply masterpieces rather than just awesomely cool. I guess I have to decide if I want to judge the movies as a fan or the way a film critic might.

PS: The Godfather movies sucked and so did all the Star Wars prequels.

Star Trek wasn't a trilogy because there's, like, ten or twelve of them. Although you might be able to classify it as a trilogy based on the fact that only three of the movies were good.

He also left out Clint Eastwood's "Dollars" trilogy:

    A Fistful Of Dollars
    For A Few Dollars More
The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

If Lotr was made into a book it would make great toilet paper.
