I know what i have enjoyed watching.

I like two pints and a packet of crisps.

I also like AB FAB when it was on.

    Then of course, Father Ted.

And i am even partial for a bit of Will and Grace.

    You  ??

I'm quite into The Chaser's War on Everything at the moment, especially with the election around the corner. Apart from that, I would consider these some of the best:

    Blackadder
    Father Ted
    Black Books
    Fawlty Towers
    Futurama
    The IT Crowd
    The League of Gentlemen
    The Mighty Boosh
    The Vicar of Dibley
    Little Britain
    The Young Ones
    South Park
The Simpsons (mostly the older stuff)

I can't think of anything current on the idiot box that is particularly funny but House can make me laugh out loud, Hugh Laurie's delivery is wonderful.

The first time I came across Little Britain I absolutely pissed myself ( it never seemed quite as funny again).

Billy Connolly in his heyday was outstanding.

I think John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle and Michael Palin ( and a couple of others who made up Monty Pythons Flying circus) were brilliant, probably doesn't look as funny now as then.

Mike Myers is pure comic genius ( not everyone's cup of tea I'm sure but he works for me)

Rodney Rude, also a comic genius ( too crude for many I'm sure but absolutely pin sharp in a crass way).

Tommy Cooper( English, from days gone by) hysterical!

I'm actually blessed to know one of the funniest humans who ever walked the Earth, my mate Dave who is an artist, philosopher and humour on a stick. He's a fine artist and his greatest art form is humour and he is relentless and takes no prisoners. We laugh 'til tears flow.

I'm sure I'll think of a few more.

Russel Brands ponderland is mildly hilarious in some fairly crude ways

Aside from many already mentioned, Allo Allo would have to be up there.

Then of course you have Couplings (the original English version). Anything by Monty Python. Red Dwarf (again the Original English version). Meh.. too many to mention really. I must admit I much prefer the English comedies to American ones.

Especially the Christmas episode where she eats so much at each home that she has to be returned home in a front loader.

Magda Zsubanski did a similar sketch and it was absolutely piss funny.

That reminds me, Mark Mitchell especially as Con the Fruiterer.

I never really got into The Comedy Company. Kylie Mole annoyed the hell out of me. Only funny bit was Con's baby with the unibrow... which reminds me.. 'looking.. looking.. looking..'.. and then of course Uncle Arthur was the best character on there.. I think he was the only reason I watched it.

D-Gen and Full Frontal were heaps better.

Especially the earlier episodes of FF with the witches coven skits and the airline stewards.. not to mention the classic and can never be forgotten 'aahhh grasshoppa dick'..

Uncle Arthur was Glen Robbins yeah? A.K.A. Russell Coight, and Kath's partner( Kath and Kim).Ken or Col or something.

I know the female equivalent of Uncle Arthur ( my stepdaughter's Aunt) Scary, very scary.

Getting Australocentric now but John Doyle AKA Roy Slaven is Seriously funny and don't be fooled by his sporting persona, the guy works on deep levels.
