http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3403467.stm A BBC News Quiz on the US Presidency. I did okay. I only blew one question that was important to me, a Constitutional issue, and I have no clue what I was thinking. The other questions I blew had to do with ratings, curses, and, well, I can't tell you because someone else might make the same mistake. In other words, I completely blew the damn thing, but I'm only troubled about missing the Constitutional issue.
Don't feel bad T. The quiz is wrong. The POTUS now makes $400,000 per year. Bush is the first one to receive this salary. I went 8/10.
Shit. 8/10 also. Missed the WH room and the high/low approval rating. And you're right, the BBC missed the salary.
Wow. Same score as you Spyke. I don't feel so bad now. I missed Ike in the ME, and completely forgot about Garfield.
Garfield's the one I wasn't saying anything about. But I still can't figure why I was thinking of a second succession based on the office of the VP. I'd blame it on pot, but one should never blame anything on their vices. Incidentally, Ike in the ME was one of those "educated guesses" for me--it seemed Ike was the only choice chronologically (historically) postured to make such a declaration in the first place.
Good job. I can't believe I missed the high/low approval rating. My first instinct was right but then talked myself out of it. BTW, 15, got your address over on VQ. I'll answer your and X's question when I get my head into it.
With that impressive score and illegal entry, you may soon be eligible for a 3-year indentured-worker permit!
7/10. Missed the assassination question, (sheesh I knew that one), the zero year curse (that one's pretty esoteric), and the Eisenhower doctrine which I guess I should be familiar with regarding current events.
