Yes, Sam, it's under the "Science" forum, under the sub-forum "Science & Society". And if every single post here has to be totally scientific, then you'd best get out your "infraction guns" because the place is filled up with non-sciencific posts!!

Sam, even the original post is non-scientific ....you should give the original poster an infraction. But you didn't, did you? Nope, you let the thread go for some 8 pages ...until some post bothered your racial sensibilities. That sucks, ya' know!

A forum entitled 'Science and Society' is not going to be filled up with pages of hard data.

Subjective experience has to be weighed against scientific objectivity when considering topic posts.

So come on... your just being unfair here...

 

An obvious degeneration to literary stereotypes after explanation of the science and statistics cannot be overlooked.

The topic under discussion is relevant not only in terms of explaining the science to people who are apparently unaware of what constitutes science but are also prone to reaching spurious conclusions based on a limited understanding of the methodology and data analysis.

Part of my post was simply alluding to the fact that there is a core of truth in any stereotype otherwise it wouldn't exist in the first place would it?

'Stereotype' is a term employed in psychology and sociology so it's perfectly scientific.

 

Like I said, part of the effort is explaining science to people who are unaware of what constitutes science

 

S.A.M locks threads which offend her tender sensibilities, even when someone posts an article from a peer reviewed scientific journal which argues that on average, black brain size is smaller than white brain size. Le gasp!

No doubt they'd censor any mention of the fact that the female brain is smaller than that of the male brain.
