ok i just put my avatar picture in i got it down to 40 * 40 but it cut out 3 quaters of my wifes face whys this? wouldent it just reduce in size if i shrunk the image? howcomes it just cut her face out ?????. peace
well from her right eye she looks hot.congratulations.did you click drag resize it or percentage zoom resize it?if you percentage zoom resize it it should work. oh yeah the reason i dont have one is pure lazyness.
i just opened it in paint, and then done it from there i changed the pixels to 40 by 40 like someone said to do, but it aint worked. peace

ive sent you a scaled down version of it, but its rather small. also, the xp version of paint doesnt seem to work like the good win98 version, but you can download GIMP for free, which will do the job.
Usually I dont have an avatar, but then the avatar threads spurious talked about started and i got one. Actual i have more then 1, but the 2 tiger avatar spurious made have run away, maybe they are still in the avatar thread...
I haven't put up an avatar because I just haven't gotten around to it, heh. That and an avatar isn't really a big deal to me. - N
I might try to figure out how to put up an avatar, but I can't find a good picture of an M1A1 Abrams tank blowing the shit outta' some mud hut! ...or perhaps an M-60 Machine Gun spitting out a gazillion tracers into a dark night sky. Baron Max (Besides, I don't know how to put up an avatar anyway ...probably requires slightly more computer knowledge than the ON/OFF switch -- which I've just recently mastered!)
I think an avatar should be mandatory for all members once they hit post #10. Makes it easier to recognize you without having to look for the name, and also looks more professional.
