There is a small mountain creek in the Snowy Mountains in NSW... It is icy cold, strong flowing and crystal clear. If you look thru the water, you can see hundreds of flat shiny rocks. The creek is shallow enough to sit in and just watch the lil critters and ferns draping into the water...
    Its magickal!

First, Callatya, where is NSW for those of us not familiar with Australia?

Any way you could perhaps share a picture with us who have not chance to visit such a place?

As always every country has it's beauties. Also those are by the eye of the beholder and what they feel is a great place. For one a plain lake is fine and yet for another the granduer of nature is at the tops Me? I favor the streams and rivers. Nothing like a good canoe trip with camping, swimming, and cooking involved.

    Hey, wet1 ...

I think it's 'New South Wales', the Sidney area of Australia.

    Take care

Yes, Sydney is the capital city of New South Wales.

Callatya, I agree with you- Australia is a beautiful country, but I'm biased 'cos I've lived here all my life

I'm in South Australia at the moment (moving to NSW in two weeks). Most of the land here is desert, but it's beautiful nevertheless.
