    Hi, Crim§on Ro§e -

There are a few Canadians here and about, but you might want to pose this question in the Free Thought area as well. Not all members poke their noses in this forum, so you might miss someone.

    Welcome to SciForums-
May your mind remain open and your blood pressure low.

    Peace.

I take care of the books and purchasing (and whatever else comes up). What do you do?

I'm new to this whole message board thing, but thought it'd be kewl to meet some ppl in my area. I'm a little behind on the Sword of Truth series... a mutual fan assured me that there were no new books released yet.. and bingo. I hit on a site confirming that I'm actually behind three books! Ouch. Guess I've got some real late nights ahead of me

Thanx for responding to my post, all!

Yeah, sword of truth is awsome. It's my opinion that number seven, faith of the fallen, is the best. I live near eastern canada, not too near, but my state is on the border.

ugh.... I still have to get through 5 and 6! And with my luck #8 will be out before I get those two even read. Now I can't wait to get to the bookstore and get started! Hope Richards as sexy in the next three!

Yeah, I agree. Goodkind puts a good deal of sex in his books.

So, Pollux, you mentioned living near Canada... in a state? I take it you're American then? Awesome! Where abouts? I originally lived in Montreal (eastern part of Canada) before moving out west 3 years ago.

I live in Maine. Once I went to Quebec, it's a nice city. I also went to Nova Scotia but that was really terrible. They just had tourist shops and chain restaurants. Not what I wanted.

I just finished Pillars Of Creation, that's the most recent Terry Goodkind book I've got. He's diverged a great deal from the Richard Rahl story, but still groovy stuff.

Yeah, I'm starting to 'not like' how he never has the main characters in the series in his books. There were only around twenty pages with Richard actually speaking. But, the good news is that the series will at least go on for ten books, so we'll have plenty of reading material.

Pollux... actually, Quebec is where I'm from originally. I agree with you on the Nova Scotia comment. I went there thinking whoa... fresh lobster! And found nothing but deep fried fish! Yuck! And good luck finding any lobster. Hell... they ship them all out West!

Adam... I guess Goodkind could only concentrate on Richard for so long... considering there're more books to come in the next while. Hopefully the characters will have as much substance and be able to keep us intrigued. I pretty much lost all respect for Kahlan after Temple of the Winds. Guess I'm not as forgiving as some
