    arent we talking about MMORPG's here cause most RTS servers are free.

    Ok, I am digging this thread up because Warhammer 40K: The dawn of war was released today (at least in Germany, so I suppose it should already be available in the english speaking countries.

    HavenĀ“t bought it yet, but I am playing the demo and the game is really cool. Can also easily set every graphic option on high, no probs.

    Specifications are as following:

    CPU: 1800 Mhz
    RAM: 512
    Disk Space: 1.8 GB
    and at least a GeForce Ti4 to play it without hitches.

    Go and get it boys.

    it is spectacular. it offers a new type of RTS, which is = fighting. none of this bullshit pissing about before. I LOVE. however, my cash is reserved for san andreas, mgs3 and if i can be bothered im getting pandora tommorow, when i realized it was good yesterday.......

    Is there centralized servers maintained by the developers? This is the only way I feel RTS can be extremely successful, if you look at Age of Empires with their microsoft network and Starcraft/warcraft with the uber successful Battle.net. FPS seems to be one of the few games that remain successful without the advantage of centralized servers.
