No, it wasn't the weight. If it was, I would have had cankles through most of the pregnancy. It was a water weight thing, like Asguard mentioned

when was the last time you were in an office building? :bugeye: There is a dress code and tennis shoes do not fit into it. They would have rather had me there in tennis shoes than go on maternity leave early.

Oh, I didn't know you worked in an office building. They are not as strict here though, I think.
What did you mean by "Is that what you went through?", I didn't get that part.

i should add that men are much less defined in the ankle area so a cankle would be less noticeable or that much of an issue.

    Nice leg.

I came out here to say, "enmos has a 10" what?", and got distracted.

    That's funny.

orleander, oviously it doesnt matter now but out of intrest why didnt you try RICE?

    Rest
Ice (15 min every 2 hours if possable)
Elivation (just sit them up on a chair)
Compression (a heavy duty rollor bandage is best for this)

It would have stoped the build up of odeama and there for the build up of pressure. Actually that pressure can be a real problem, if it builds up above the pressure in the arteries (or even just the cappileries) it can cause whats called "compartment syndrome". This means you lose perfusion (glucose, O2, removal of waste ect) from that section and below
