Don't try to understand the show from what you see, nearly everything in that show is a metaphor...instead try to read between the lines. Watching it twice helps too.
Could do me some good. Well, Cartoon Network air's it pretty late, so it would take some commitment. And I: am too poor to buy it. Thanks, -Guyute

Another anime quiz... Which DiGi Charat character are you??? http://quizilla.com/users/Pyocola/quizzes/Which DiGi Charat Character are you DiGi Charat is kind of like FLCL and EVA in surreal style, except much shorter eps, cheaper and funnier.
What do u guys think about the show called X? Was the movie better? What about Gate-keepers 21 What is DC++? where can i get it?
X, ya I saw some of that but it I was not interested it seemed like the matrix meets magic the gathering. As for the movie I thought about watching it but seriously the series did not interest me so I didn't.
Well folks I am back!!! And with good news at that. I was sitting on the toilet the other day flipping through my latest anime magazine when I had nearly jumped off the toilet with joy. For what my eyes have seen took me by surprise. The very real verification of a Live action Neon Genesis Evangelion Movie. Turns out that Adv Films, Studio Gainex, and Weta Workshop(Responsible for the Lord of the Rings series) are making a joint effort to bring the epic anime series to the big screen. The script is already being made and I am just oozing with anticipation! Unfortunatally we may be seeing it come out in about 2010. Long, But I will wait. I hope this info brings the joy that it brought me, to other Evangelion Fans. Haters, Take it to the Free Thoughts!!! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! -Guyute
Couple of things: One: Sargent Lard is right about FLCL. The events and sci-fi elements aren't really the focus. And two: Just saw Kai Do Maru, and it's similar to Blood: TLV in that it is very sweet, but also very short. No surprise since it's made by the same people. One pretty amazing effect is that basically the whole thing is done in light pastel colors, but in some scenes there's huge amounts of brilliant, deep crimson blood. Pretty striking.
DEAR GOD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think anime into live action belittles anime! Anime is just as good as live action if not better. Making a live action of EVA is like making a remake of EVA and I hate remakes!
Anyone remember the live remake of Iria?.....this is bad news for EVA and I have never even seen the show.
I am forced to agree with sarge and WCF. Live action versions always, repeat always, suck. To do that to EVA should be a crime. The only sliver of hope i can see is that if weta workshop is as much into this progect as they were LOTR, it might be desent. The problem is that the budget would have to be astronomical to come close to doing the series justice,
