A friend of mine made me sit through some of Claymore. It had potential, but it seemed like it too much of the concept hinged on showing extremely thin but shapely, conspicuously camel-toed women in skin-tight bodysuits in close up at crotch level. I have no issue with appreciating the female form, but it got to be a little heavy handed. It did deviate from the "fight of the week" concept by having single fightls last multiple episodes, but it was squarely in the "combat anime" camp. I happen to like combat anime much of the time and thought the fights were interesting.
Avatar is not "anime" only because it's American, rather than Japanese, but it is definitely in the same style.
thats just a silly expression of how silly and unrealistic anime is and can be judged just by watching this one picture and thus you decide to shop for this silliness by knowing that anime is indeed unrealistic.
