Can anyone think of a contemporary, well known American that behaves and acts in ways akin to a zen master or sage? And by this I don't necessarily mean someone practices, etc. But someone who possess that sort of nature. I couldn't think of one.
The type of people who try to emulate sages, or are sagely action-wise, are varely rarely well known. You might have to do a bit of research. Sages are just harder to come by these days.
Me! oh, you said well-known. ,in fact it is a common occurance, and not a cause for any undue reverence. You have the same nature, even if you do not yet recognize it. How about Alan Watts?
