Im putting together a petition for my school for a one-day no purchase session. My friend told me of a school who tried this, and the students learned alot from thier actions of abstainence. The purpose will be to demonstrate that Americans consume a ridiculous amount of resources, while children and families starve on the other side of the world. I am asking for links that could help me to prove to my prinicpal that this is a worthy task. So, any website with consumption stats by comparison, flat statistics, or projected future outcomes will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
