    Ok. Let's limit discussion here to technical aspects of string theory.

    Alpha thread ground rules will apply from here on out (I deleted a few posts, hopefully no one was offended.)

    Any question from Zwiebach I or AlphaNumeric can probably answer.

    Any question from Samir's lectures (linked above) I can GET an answer to.

    I would suggest to people to download the first set of lecture notes from Samir and start reading. This corresponds to about chapters 3 - 6 in Zwiebach, I think.

    I will try my best to keep up with this thread, as this is an intensely interesting subject to me.

    Even though i'm not a big fan of string theory, i would have still downloaded them// but as i have explained, my computer is a bit fuzzy at the moment when downloading things... sigh.
