either i wrote that badly or your delibratly misinterpting. my point was that rather than proving a link they basically said the equivlant of "people die during the day so its the sun being up which kill you" as i said i havent read the actual artical to read the methology and this COULD be a different artical all together but the radio interview i was lissioning to was with one of the authors

AFAIK Soviet/ Russian alcoholism is old news: it was "standard" knowledge that the old Soviet army was infested with alcoholics (even brewed (or didn't bother brewing and drank it neat) drink from truck engine anti-freeze - at one time it was a major cause for the higher-ups in the Soviet army: reduced manning levels AND trucks that wouldn't run).
So then don't participate in the thread. :shrug: Half of the Politics and Religion is repetition, and this topic was currently in the news, so bug off... There are other big drinking natonalities, but the Russians keep dying of it. Probably because of the cheap access and questionable quality... Maybe Draqon should start drinking, that would help him with the view of the world...

Well I don't want to know how they produce the alcohol and how they cheat during the process of alcohol production. It's better to pay a good sum on some nice bottle of high quality spiritus instead of buying cheap table wine.
