    In some ways their better than JRR Tolkiens novels. Just because they are classics doesn't necessarily mean they're better.

    They are worlds developed by companies. There are going to be differences, considering that Tolkein didn't exactly design Middle Earth for role-playing, like Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms are.

    Everything's going to have differences.
    I was just thinking of them as stories with well developed worlds. I wasn't thinking of the fact that dragonlance is part of the roleplaying scene. I just think they're better stories.
