Note: As an example, this particular thread has some instructive value. To the one, its underlying considerations were political, and had little to do with Ethics, Morality, or Justice. To the other, the topic poster's direct statement that he would like to see a person tarnished suggests much about the intended purpose of the discussion, and that we should not waste the Politics team's time with it. Thus the thread is transfered to The Cesspool. The moral of the story? Not much of one, but still useful: If the staff and administration of Sciforums should give any member the benefit of the doubt in any given situation, it is helpful to leave room for doubt.
