Absolute Zero

    It could not. That is impossible. A gas is a gas, a solid is a solid, and a liquid is a liquid because of how fast the molecules are moving. Molecules in gases move the fastest, as they slow down they become liquids, then finally a solid. Molecules in solids move very slowly. As you reach the bottom limits of temperature they would still be solids. A molecule cannot be a liquid or a gas if it is not in motion. There is no molecular motion at absolute zero, that is the definition of absolute zero -- the point where all molecular motion stops. No thermal energy exists. And remember the rate at which molecules move is a measure of their temperature/energy. The concept of absolute zero is theoretical though.
