Hi There's one thing bugging my mind here: Mods, why is it that the Gen Science threads appear, disappear and reappear so often? end of bug.... (mind if I typed too short?)
You mean the details? Okay. The Gen Science forum's threads are not always there, I mean, a thread which was there one day disappears the following day(s). Also, when a new thread is made, it may be gone after awhile, sometimes it returns with new replies. it's kinda hard to explain here, just examine the forum everyday and you know what I meant..... It doesn't always happen everyday tho.
I have the same problem as Curiocity. A thread older than one day disappears leading me to go to bottom of page and choose the option to display all threads from the last month or 2 weeks.
Ow, thanks for your idea, sarge. now I can see all threads. Now I wonder why the same thing doesn't happen to other forums....... edit: it happens to other old forums too, in a different way, that is, better than the one to Gen Sci...... when I choose to see threads in Free Thoughts from the beginning, I get 281 pages...... figures.... but the last normal page is page 31, thread starting <b>October last year</b>...... the same happens to Art&Culture.... looks like normally the threads are shown if they're not yet 4 months old.... edit: how many times have I editted this single post by the way? gosh...
