Cosmic...here is the question for you...

One day you wake up and discover a letter for you in a mailbox, you open the letter...which states that you have been invited to join an expedition to the far away limits of space to work as a mining engineer superviser on a diamond planet...all you have to do is say "I agree" or "I decline" while you are reading this letter, and you will be immedeatly transported to the planet with all the accomodations thereafter you need. The job will last a year at most.

What will be your course of action?

Well, I'd first have to find out many things before signing anything like that. There are so many things that I would need to know about before any life altering decision could be made. My lawyer would be brought into play as well. So my quick response would be "perhaps".

well your only choices are to answer in 5 minutes from opening this letter...it has a small transceiver and recorder in it as well as a device that can teleport you to that planet if you agree to it. However if you do not...you will miss a lifetime opportunity as well as the mail will teleport itself out of your hands back to the planet

Well, put like that I'd decline because a journey into unknown areas isn't a risk that my life is worth taking .

I know this is in another thread, but cosmic, do you believe that cultural identity is a choice or an inheritance ?

    1. If your ex begged you to take her back, would you?

I once thought I could but now time has distanced us to much and I fear that she really needs to be who she is, the psychopathic lier that she turned into. Trying to keep the "candle" burning has been extinguished by time and fading memories of the "way we were".

    2. What is your favorite kind of pizza?

The kind that the woman I'm with likes at the time!

    3. When was the last time you have a birthday party where you blew out candles?

I only celebrate anniversaries nowadays for you only have one real "birthday". That was when I was about 8 years old if memory serves me correctly.

    4. Did you make a wish?

    Of course.

    Why not? I'm here then I'm not aren't I ?
