Yeah, the difficult one Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Basic respect for others (until they demonstrated that respect is unwarranted). Help where required/ needed whenever/ wherever you can, otherwise let them them get on with it (don't interfere). Show trust until it's obvious it's not warranted. Realise that everyone has some worth (although it's difficult to find it in some Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!) People are individuals first and foremost, and it's individuals not groups that count. Not everyone thinks the way I do, so give them some slack. More difficult than I thought it would be... may need more work on this one.
Not a big fan of the Python films for some resaon. I loved the TV series (first time round), but the films sort of passed me by. I think Brian is wittier and has more "moments" in though, if pushed.
Do you have any bad habits, like biting you nails or picking your nose and rolling the bogeys 'til they're dry then flicking them into the fire ?
If I had bad habits would I (should I) admit to them? I do pick my nose (but usually with a hanky...) No I don't flick bogies into the fire. Haven't bitten my nails in decades now I come to think of it. I smoke, some people class that as a bad habit.
Every time I light a cigarette. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! About 15 a day. Yep.
Your view of Osama Bin Laden and his struggle. What do you think the World will be like in 20 years time? A better place? What do you think is needed to bring peace to the World? What football team do you support?
Mechanical. Most of of my career has been in "materials handling", among other things I designed airport luggage conveyors... AMRAAM is a BVR weapon while AIM-9 is most definitely a WVR (dogfight) missile, so it depends on target range: AMRAAM the sucker before it gets close, probably. Yes, but mostly from the point of view of someone who goes to air shows! At the very least they should have kept flying one of them, high mach-soak data would have helped a US SST programme.
I've been that long without a TV that I can't offer an opinion: I haven't seen (or read) the news for a year or more. Things do generally improve with time. Fewer people prepared to break the peace! Umm, how about a realisation that we're all in it together? I have no interest whatsoever in football, none.
Do you agree with Noli nothis permittere te terere ? Or at least the general sentiment of : Don't let the bastards grind you down
I don't even notice the bastards, let alone get ground down. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Probably accounts for the accusations of arrogance that I get, but my parents raised me on the principle that you have to live with yourself. So why should the opinion of "bastards" count? Cor 1:17 "It matters little to me that I am judged by you or any human court" (Not that I have religion, but it's an apt quote I came across many years ago).
- Do you like Scooby snacks and solving mysteries? This is a serious issue with at least 33.3% of children living in the average Geoff household.
