If you were to live (for at least 1 year) in another country, which would it be? Favourite US state? Do you have any siblings? What's your idea of the perfect day? Do you prefer hot or cold weather? Cats or dogs (or other)?
I was browsing the internet looking for some good science sites when I came across Sciforums. I like the discourse and the people here.
Neither, I am an Independent. I will vote for the person as I see it regardless of party affiliation. However, as you may have gathered, I am deeply disappointed with the Republican Party and have been since george I. I didn't and do not like the under handed politics that the Republican Party has become so good at these last few decades. Nor have I been happy with the Republican performance when in office, basicly selling legislation to special interests...unrestrained corruption. And you can see where it has landed us.
If you were to live (for at least 1 year) in another country, which would it be?Sweden, my ancestors hail from Sweden. Favourite US state? Now this is a hard one, cause I like them all. California, Washington, and Kansas would be my finalists. Do you have any siblings?Yep What's your idea of the perfect day?Every day Do you prefer hot or cold weather?Probably have a preference for cooler weather, but any weather is good as long as the roads are good and the humidity is not too bad. Cats or dogs (or other)?Dogs definately, the smarter the better.
Joe: 20 Years old, a boy. He is on an Artic Expedition at the moment. Wow. That's interesting. What is he doing there?
No Sons of Neptune here, USS Roark. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Roark_(FF-1053) The fast frigates are my favorites, not too big and not too small.
Frigates have always been pretty targets boats. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! But we bubbleheads ride better (sub-merged). Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Bluefish
LOL Reminds me of something my drill instructor said in boot, "I ain't never gonna set foot on a boat that sinks on purpose!"
I am a plainsman at heart, born and raised. I love the wide open spaces. These lyrics seem appropriate here: God made the mountains God made the sky God made the people God knows why He fixed up the planet As best as He could Then in come the people And gum it up good The first thing you know They civilized the foothills And every weary put hills The mountains and valley below They come along and take 'em And civilize and make 'em A place where no civilized Person would go The first thing you know The first thing you know They civilize what's pretty By puttin' up a city Where nothin' that's Pretty can grow They muddy up the winter And civilize it, into a place Too uncivilized Even for snow The first thing you know They civilize left They civilize right Till nothing is left Till nothing is right They civilize freedom Till no one is free No one except By coincidence, me The first thing you know The boozer's in prison And the criminally isn't And only the rascals have gone When I see a parson I gotta put my arson in A wagon that follows the tail of a crow The first thing you know I pick up a growl The first thing you know From, The First Thing You Know, Paint Your Wagon
