Is that not also known as "wave interference"?

Apparently this quantum foam is caused by the Higgs field, and we have been able to manifest the Higgs boson.
But the Higgs field was created by the BB. and formed "after" creation.

The only dimension which could have contained a causal God would have to have existed before the BB. Riddle me that one.

How was it determined that the Higgs field was created " after " creation ?

You said in reply to spacetime expands....
    I said....

    But you just said......
As everyone knows, and as the articles stipulate, quantum foam is speculative, but it is reasonable speculation that in time maybe shown to be true via the LHC.
And yet you and you alone, while our experts admit reasonable speculation, claim fact in all you say on the matter?

As I recall, Bohm likened the Pilot Wave to a flowing river, complete with eddies and whirlpools caused by local conditions, IOW wave interferences.

What I found most interesting is Bohm's proposition that particles do not have a wave/particle duality themselves but are particles which ride and are steered by the pilot wave, which experimentally would produce the exact same result as the standard "probability wave function" of particles in the double slit experiment..

IMO, this is a very simple an elegant solution to the perceived problem with the particle/wave duality.

I can actually visualize a little boat floating on a wide river which at a point has to flow through two narrow slits . Which slit the boat is forced to move through is determined by the wave interference in front of the slits as the river has to narrow itself in order to pass through both slits.

IOW the wave interference already begins before the boat passes through the slits. I believe this phenomenon has given rise to the notion of a feedback of the wave interference from behind the slits back to before the slits, a form of time reversal. I may not be saying this correctly and hope someone else is familiar with this theoretical hypothesis.

Of course you didn't! That's accepted mainstream evidenced based cosmology.

    Yes

Particles are inherent in the wave . We can see this in any water wave .

The crest of the wave is when the you get the wave breaking into particles of the wave .

Not quite, as I understand it the particles ride and are steered by the greater Pilot Wave. Like little boats drifting down a river.
According to proponents of a fractal universe, the crest of the wave reveals the fractality (the fracturing) of the water.

But that would have nothing to do with photons riding the wave. However, if we shine a light at an angle into the water, we can clearly see that the photons abruptly change their path.

Interesting I must say, but I'm certainly not the one to add to the hypothesis: Other then the river and boat analogy seems rather weird, particularly with the wave interference in front of the slits. I don't see this happening in the real thing.

What is this pilot wave ?

The crest reveals the particles of water .

Now the fractal could happen , but the crest of the wave breaks down the wave into its constituent parts as well .

The fractal is not what is important here .

What is important is that the wave has been broken into particles .

Take walk along a river and observe what happens when the river enters a narrow or a shallow portion. All the water tries to go through (being forced from behind). This is where we can clearly see the turbulence as the total mass becomes compressed.

It is most obvious watching a tsunami, which may be a foot high in the open ocean, reaching the shallows or a narrow inlet and building to tens of feet in hight. As I have read , just a normal tide function can build to enormous heights in certain narrows. It is called a Tidal Bore

Yes I know, but that does not happen with photons or electrons.

In the Quantum world , waves and particles and how they behave is important ...

You need to "research" the limited applications of scientific analogies. Again, electrons and photons do not build up in front of a slit as does water through a gate or such. But I'm sure Write4U understands what I'm getting at.

That is assuming a water wave, with trillions of water molecules. But the double slit experiment deals with a single photon which accorcing to convention travels as a probability wave and only becomes a particle when it strikes the photgraphic plate behind the slits. So there is no breaking apart involved as might be expected from a stream of light. We're talking about a single photon, not trillions of them.

There is a medium of which both has an effect on .

Electrons and photons do not build up or congregate in front of any slit.
Write4U is able to recognise that, why can't you, instead of side stepping the crux of the question as our friend Dave recently pointed out.?

But both effect the medium on which they ride on .
