There's letters seal'd: and my two schoolfellows, Whom I will trust as I will adders fang'd, They bear the mandate; they must sweep my way, And marshal me to knavery. Let it work; For 'tis the sport to have the engineer Hoist with his own petard: and 't shall go hard But I will delve one yard below their mines, And blow them at the moon: O, 'tis most sweet, When in one line two crafts directly meet. Ooooh... well then... would you like some of my ganjah? John says his alien friends grew it themselves... hydroponic... *drools* - Warren
For chroot, -- "Blandish--to flatter or coax in persuading; cajole" --Websters The internet is a fine tool, chroot, but it has limitations and it certainly doesn't make good books obsolescent.
1) dictionary.com includes the same definition. 2) Webster's is not considered "a good book" in literary circles. 3) I normally use my OED. 4) The word 'blandish,' if you actually intended to use it, was entirely misused in your sentence. It doesn't make any sense. Therefore, I gave you the benefit of the doubt by assuming you just made a typo, and meant 'brandish.' If you'd rather me assume you're actually so stupid you use words in unintelligible contexts, though, that's your choice. - Warren
You obviously don't come from a literary circle, chroot, so we'll never have to endure you blandishing your intelligence.
Dear Lord, you've gotta be the stupidest person capable of using the Internet. Site mods: you've obviously made it too easy... - Warren
bibhasde, Please don't cross post. It is not acceptable here. If you have a post you think should be in this forum and not the other, then do us the kindness of at least making the message different.
