    "In the tree are not apples," looks like a sentence with a grammatical error. It looks like you were trying to say, "In the tree are no apples," and didn't get it right. No one expects that to be part of the puzzle; we're all too busy smirking about the poor writing.

    I agree with this. These kind of things do have a rightful place but it isn't here. It's called the Math & Physics subforum or the Linguistics subforum.
