On the contrary, it's a well-reasoned approach to confronting our greatest collective challenges, instead of ignoring them:
"100% zero-carbon electricity in 10 years."? Only solar power? What about nuclear power? Nuclear power plants are much safer than using coal fire plants to generate electricity. More people have died from accidents in coal fire plants than from acidents in nuclear plants. And nuclear energy produces virtually no emissions. Hmm.. Does anyone happen to know how much it would cost to power the world with solar as opposed to nuclear energy?
