Does anyone here know good 90's chick bands?

    Here's my list so far:

    Garbage
    The Pretenders
    Morissette (Jagged Little Pill)
    The Cardigans
    Bikini Kill

    I know I'm missing heaps.
You guys did such a fine job in pointing me towards the Smashing Pumpkins, so I'm sure that you've got fine taste.

    Sarah McLaughlin (sp).

But I dislike girl singers. Try Buckcherry....

Oh, does anyone know who sings that song that goes like: "A friend in need is friend indeed, a friend with weed is better"? Awesome song.

    Edit: try Wheatus.

Well, judging from the groups you include, I won't include 'them'. Rather, how about Sixpence?

    Placebo. No it isn't awesome.

Maybe you'd like 'veruca salt' roman.
I don't, but maybe you would.
I did used to like 90's chick bands, in the 90's, can't remember hardly any of them though.

    Goodness

Carrie Akre, of Goodness and Hammerbox, is the best "chick" singer to come along among "90s bands". I never got around to Hammerbox during their original run, but saw Goodness a number of times, and there really was something special about it. Too bad it didn't catch on.

(I am informed at this moment that I managed to miss two shows by Goodness last week. Absolutely f@cking tragic!)

I like Vixen's "Edge of a broken heart". I also like the song "Possession" by Sarah Mclachlan.

Another song I like, "Building a Mystery" by Sarah Mclachlan.

As for Dido, yep, odd name, to me. I didn't even know who she was until I heard her with Eminem.
