I heard the reviews weren't too good, but I'll probably still check it out
I like how the director explores class structure thru sci-fi. He did the same thing with District 9. I hope to see Elysium soon.
www.rottentomatoes.com rated it 68% by critics and 64% by users (non critics)
That's considered "decent" by their standards, so might be worth me seeing.
I saw it, I enjoyed it. If it shows up in a Black Friday sales bin, I'll probably buy it.
it was "ok" in my POV, a "somewhat good" spacy movie that is for one time view only. It lacks civility and emotional details, due to the heavy CGI use. And as a member here mentioned, it did evoke a District 9 social structure feeling inside.
Saw it. Was underwhelmed. Shallow story line, even shallower ending. Great graphics.
I saw District 9. I liked it, but not enough to see it again. I'm not sure why. I guess I expect space aliens to have more self respect.
