    I made mine for about $2000.00 US. Of course the NVidia card isn't out yet so I used the Raedon's equivilent X800 Pro Platinum with just about the same specs for $450.00, $50.00 per 512 megs of SDRAM, and $700.00 for the FX processor. Add it up, a lot less than what they want!!

    I agree. Alenware is overpriced. I've been shopping around for computers and the best way to go is to make your own.
