No offence, but you lot haven't got a clue. If you had accually read any real text of any kind, you would have realized that no were, not once did anyone say we were ALL gone die(thats just modern media trying to sell a story).

What they(mayan) and may other civilizations even before are modern concept of time did write down is that between the years 2002-2012 are world and are understanding of time itself would end...
Not that the world would seese to exist.
Not that we as a race would seese to exist.

But that are culture and the destruction nature of man would seese.
Because it has to stop, we all know that we cant continue destroying the planet as we are at the moment.

I personally think myself very fortunate that this is going to happen in my life.

The major (and most noticeable difference) occurring in 2012 will be the fact that you'll have to write "12" instead of "11" on your cheques in the date section.
Anything else (such as this "world and are understanding of time itself would end") is pure nonsense.

Agreed the saying makes sense, but it has exactly nothing to do with the prophecies or the year 2012.

 

Ok, that was way off topic, but what i was trying to say is that the source of many evils in this world stem from money.
Money and greed go hand in hand.
If you do any research about money markets you can see that recessions all around the world are happening more frequently and will continue to get more frequent until there is an inevitable zero point.
I'm not really sure myself if this will happen in 2012, but it will happen.

And when it does people will realise the true meaning of...

Again, nothing to do with 2012.

One thing about humans is that we cause problems. Another thing is that the problems we forecast turn out not to occur, instead we get something else.
