Just realized I have been farting around this forum, off and on, for the past 20 years. Thank you for the memories, everyone. Things do look painfully slow around here. I hope it picks up. It seems that the forum format is a dying breed, but I hope I am wrong.

    Best wishes for the future.

Am I? I Am? There might be something to learn from weirdness.

You remind me of some "hippie" wannabes in the 60s who tried too hard to be weird. True weirdness happens naturally.

"True Weirdness happens naturally." A new slogan for the 2020's...hopefully? Better than Leary's "Turn on, tune in, drop out." of '66, don't you think?

I think we're all weird. For me, it's more that there's interesting weird and boring weird. There's a lot of boring weird around.

The weirdos are running out of fresh ideas? Oops! Mr Bob's principle that it must be "Natural."

Reminds me of an exchange in HGTG between Zaphod Beeblebrox and an insect-like receptionist:

ZB: Don't you try to out-weird me. I get weirder things than you with my breakfast cereal.
Recep: Well! Who exactly do you think you are? Zaphod Beeblebrox or something?
    ZB[rasping]: Count the heads.
