Here's my sad (and angerful) story goes:
I downloaded a shared program (.exe, for sure), and installed it. After some time of good use (very hort time, actually), that program suddenly terminates and a window poops ups, saying that this program is a limited time trial! Hell, Even during the installation, there's no word from the program saying that this is a demo, sharewarem, trials etc; this makes the software seem to be a hidden demo....... How I hate that!!!!
Bout the pop up itself, it goes under the name ActiveMark.

I'm not going to suggest that a hexedit comparison of for and after would give you a method to patch the problem, as it's too retroactive to be of use now.

You'll just have to wave your fist at those that made the proggy hidden demo/trialware, and perhaps commendeer an upgraded version.
