hi i need to know how can we use thermal analysis such as thermogravimetry on cement and why do we use this method to show us what?also i need to know the results that will be obtained by this method and if any body knows any other thermal analysis method applied to cement please tell me also please if u can give me a web site talking about this subject.thank you all

TGA- ahh, i used that a few years ago. Essentially you heat something up at a steady rate, and weigh it as you do so, thus, mass losses become apparent at known temperatures. EG if you heated some raw meat, you would see a peak of mass loss as around 100 degrees C, then as the temperature climber towards and past 200 degrees, you would start getting small losses due to burning etc, and this would continue as you heated it further.
