If the thread is unlawful or something to do with hate speach, etc., then we delete it so search engines don't index that shit at our site.
Cesspoll is a part of these forums too and we are somewhat responsible for the minimum standard of published content.

Interesting, my initial post was neither unlawful nor hateful. It revolved around what people would leave on an answering machine when prompted to do so. Two times this has been removed. One of the times I was banned. Sounds like a crock of shit to me and the mods are all on different pages depending upon their moods.

I received this private message following my ban:

If you do not like the moderation here then i suggest you try another forum. I am not paid for my work here and if a thread is not worth salvaging then i will simply delete it. Sciforums is dedicated to scientific and intelligent discussion, and it is therefore my job to edit or remove threads which aren't conducive to that.

i hope to see your continued participation in intelligent discussion, which you have certainly proved yourself capable of.
