Lets get this straight. He was about to be 'feted' by the Labour Govt and received as an ally UNTIL he mentioned the unmentionable.
..that he had conveyed intelligence to Britain that could have prevented the 2005 London bombings, which killed 52 commuters.
As soon as the Govt. heard that the propaganda machine went into overdrive and as with anybody who is an inconvenience they he was "rubbished" by the Labour Govt for various Human Right issues. Do you honestly think they would have done so if he hadn't told the truth about our lousy Govt.
Its a simple case of..
..."Shoot the Messenger".

it's a simple case of Shut Da F Up you stupid wahabi bitch. you're the one who created this pressure cooker of Islamic extremism which produced most of these terroristic bastards and are financing mosques around the world that preach the same shit.
Maybe so but two wrongs don't make a right.
I'm a British citizen with British concerns...what goes on in Saudi Arabia is their concern and not mine and even if it was there wouldn't be much I'd be able to do to change the situation.
The fact is ..he was invited over here and they were all ready to roll out the Red carpet for him.

Although the Foreign Secretary has stayed away, other UK diplomatic and political officials will be closely clustered round King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia during his current UK visit. For companies that join the increasingly frequent trade missions to Saudi, restored by oil as the Arab region’s leading economy, it’s often a similar story of awkward initial engagements but rewarding commercial results.

Also present were Crown Prince Sultan and his son, Prince Bandar. The crown prince runs the Ministry of Defence and Aviation, and has been heavily involved in negotiating Saudi Arabia's arms deals, not least the Al Yamamah deals with the UK and BAE systems, thought to have been worth $40bn (£20bn) over 20 years and which were subject to a Serious Fraud Office investigation suddenly dropped on the orders of the Attorney General, Lord Goldsmith, last year.

Exactly.
They only brought up all the human rights issues to bury the embarrasing story that they'd ignored his warnings.
