    Hi there,

I am looking for texts (includes short stories, plays, poems, films, political speeches) that have the theme of justice. I am looking for texts preferably linked with the law - e.g. twelve angry men, to kill a mockingbird.

I am also looking for ones with the idea of 'the choice between two evils' i.e. someones job requires them to do something immoral. he has two choice: 1. to go against morals and values or 2. go against rules of his job.

    Anyone know of any?!

    Thanks in advance,

    Sarah

Check out "Code of Honor" by Harold Coyle. It's a military fiction novel, so the story might not be to your liking, but the conflict of morality, ethics and honor is quite interesting throughout the story. Open the book, almost, and on one of the pages will be a item that should fit your needs.

Should a terrorist kill some of his own people ...IF.... that act will or might ultimately lead to the freedom and independence of his people?

Can the army of a nation be considered to have honor if it actually fights to keep some of the people of a nation from gaining their own ideas of freedom and independence?

Is a poor person's ideas of freedom and independence the same as the rich man's ideas of freedom and independence? If not, why not?

At what point is the suffering of the people NOT worth the fight for freedom and independence? If the freedom fighters cause the deaths of half of the population, is that worth the fight for freedom?

I suggest the movie “Primal Fear” starring Richard Geer

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primal_Fear_(film)

I think at the end Martin Vail is faced with the reality that his client has beaten him at his own game of deception and pride and the fact that his client is so evil and dangerous is what is so scary as well as an instant dose of reality to himself and his life.
