I assume its teeny arms were in a state of withering away generation after generation



How come the popular image of a t-rex is always with its arms in the same proportion.. IE no transitional fossils found (at least showing some significant changes in arm size)?

Hum,
perhaps the transition fossils just haven't been found.
But i also suspect that your assumption is wrong; and that the arms were used in, say, the mating process.

they all died of millions of years ago...and we got an ability to take footage only the last 200 hundred years or so.
