i have been experiencing some strange behaviour from my browser lately.
when i first power on my computer and on the first time of opening my browser it just sits there and will not load my homepage. if i go to another website, for example, thescienceforum or to officer.com the page loads. as soon as it loads i can click on my homepage and then it loads.
browser firefox 1.5
OS winXP home SP2.

firefox 1.5?
It's up to 2.0.0.3 now. Unless you're sticking with 1.5 for a reason?
Strange problem. No idea why that'd happen. Not very helpful, but I'd suggest reinstalling.

i know.
when i first got firefox it was 1.5.
i had a bunch of programs that i installed with my OS like cyberlink, nero, and firefox.
i burned them all to a CD-R, now i can install them from CD.
plus i've heard that 2.0 has a few bugs.
i don't know about the re-install route. i've had problems getting media to stream in my browser and i don't have any hair left.

Like what? I've had 2.0 for ages and had no problems.

Haven't come across anything odd with the new Firefox. I concur with the other folks, either reinstall the 1.5 or (preferably) replace it with 2.0.0.3
