I've been perusing many forums for many days. I stumbled by this one by typing "intelligent forum" into Google, with this being the second result. Already I've seen a lot of good discussion, good points made, and conflict resolved how it should be. Forums reflect the users, and this one seems pretty good. I smoke a lot of weed so the :m: is neat too About me, I'm 19, in the virgin islands, and should be in college. But I crashed a car, and ended up working a few extra months. The money is going towards a trip to Ecuador where I'll be doing volunteer work and eventually finding my way to someplace else. If any of you have gone that route, advice appreciated. And again, I'm happy I found this forum because all the rest are really a lot less productive. peace
We're the second result for intelligent forum? :bugeye: Oh well, the first one is no competition. Welcome to sciforums.
I found this site because a friend of mine back in High School was here for the biology forum. It did not take him long to be driven out (2003 I think).
I don't know how I found it. However I have been around since php forums first started to evolve and we never had enough users. users are important, especially a diversity of them like there seems to be here. I have not been on this one for very long but I sure like it. As for the crashing the car I have been that route. It sucks. The sad truth is that I never learned and seem to keep crashing them every so often. Ecuador seems like an awesome place to go. I recently read in this forum elsewhere about the shamans of the Amazon rainforest and it had alink to some google video about a documentary. This tribe in Ecuador had a few plants they used for religous rituals which left them totally stoned to the bone and tripping extremely hard. They claimed to be able to see the future and heal and all sorts of cool things. Turns out one of the plants had DMT in it, which while illegal it has been scientifically proven that we store it in our pineal gland in our brains and it is released at birth death and when we go to sleep. Awesone I want to get some more! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
We're discussing how we found the forum? I was reading this and somehow I ended up reading an explanation from JamesR about why relativity isn't flawed. Somehow... I forget exactly what it was.
I found this forum... actually, I don't remember. I've always liked science and so I googled science forum, I think. And bam!
