if the space station were abandoned and slipped out of orbit, would it burn up or would it make it through the atmosphere upon reentry.

Large portions of it would make it through the atmosphere, as happened with Skylab which spread itself over much of Western Australia.

Hopefully now the computers are back online, this won't be an issue!
