The more people who get medical care, the less time doctors have to play golf so that the more they charge to run through their three days of crowded offices a week. Plus, the more women have to take time away from their children dealing with bed pans, pampering cranky patients or recording and counting pills. The more the government protects the patients, the larger the clerical staff taking care of all the paper work. All that needs getting high wages so they will do work they really would much rather not have to do.

Then medical mistakes happen so that more people sue their doctors, the hospitals and clinics. The more that sue, the more it costs to insure doctors and the more tests they have to do. The more test they do, the more kickbacks they get from the labs and the higher the government and corporate medical insurance costs. The high the insurance costs, the larger the federal deficit and the larger the insurance company premiums. And the higher the insurance premiums, the less medical coverage business can afford for their employees.

How can there be enough of all the medical drugs, supplies, doctors, nurses and clerical staffs if the medical care profession is absorbed propping up the collapsing health of a thirty million elderly people who take more medical care in ten years than other people in their whole working lives?

In addition, we manage to give the most reliable medical care to criminals, mentally and physically impaired, the hopelessly insane, the permanently comatose and the publicity cases where teams of ten doctors work sixteen hours straight to correct some freak condition, even looking for them in other countries, just for hospital publicity and “prestige”?

What it really all means is that public opinion only gives lip serve to the cause of the working man's health when what really counts to the public is “feeling humane.”

All we need to do to bring down medical care costs so all of us could all be taken care of is to outsource all the medical work that cannot be done here by illegal aliens.

What would really help is if they would get rid of the "bad" doctors that make the mistakes instead of having the insurance companies pay out billions for their mistakes. By eliminating those who cause the problems would be a better way to approach this difficult problem from its root source.

What really will work friends is to let those with serious illness's that would cost to much to treat die, then allow minor conditions care and treatment. So cancer patients sorry but death is on your side :S HIV, etc... when they are all gone our health will increase due to they being deceased.
