the title has nothing to do with this post, but:
when you click on 'new posts' and it comes up with a list the ones that have been read are meant to be not coloured in and the ones you havent are meant to be coloured in.
it doesnt really matter, but when i click i often get ones ive read coloured. is this some glitch in the program or am i mad?

nope, new is ones you dont know about i.e. not seen before, recent= ones made not so long ago.
Well new means recent here. They mean the same
Did you see the recent episode of Friends?
Did you see the new episode of Friends?
Same thing applies here I guess

In television, (in the US anyway) new means from the latest season.
All new means the first time aired.
Took me awhile to figure that out. They'd advertise a new episode of blah, and it'd be a rerun. Finally figured out you have to wait for the all new episode. Marketing scumbags.
