I have both. They can be very annoying at times. A couple of years back, in grades 7 and 8 I had a huge issue with swearing uncontrolably however this tic has calmed down a lot, which I'm glad about. However my dominant tics now are my toes (they constantly move and grind into my shoes, making dents in the shoes) and my face. I sometimes blink constantly and have multiple nose tics. They can become extremely annoying. Now onto the OCD part. Whenever I see things crooked it drives me to the edge of insanity. I HAVE to straighten them but sometimes they're not mine so I get in trouble ... Anyways, who else here has it? Luckily for me it doesn't slow down my learning and I am in the top 5% in Canada...

I saw a documentary about tourettes, it was very interesting. Not something I would want to have to live with.

It's not that fun, but I can manage fairly easily.

No. But I'm curious. Do people react differently around you ?

@Challenger: Sometimes they laugh when I tic.
@Mike: No meds, It's EXTREMELY different than ADHD... It doesn't distract me from things really...
